Vladimir Putin and Barack Obama had a substantive discussion on current issues on the bilateral and international agenda, including the situation in Ukraine. The President of Russia stressed the need to take immediate measures to stabilise the conflict, emphasising the importance of working with the radical opposition, which has taken the confrontation in Ukraine to a very dangerous point.
