IRW-Press: Universal Reports Profit For Q1 (Calendar) Trading Results (Unaudited)

Universal Outdoor Group Plc is pleased to announce that the new management team have successfully transformed the business which, in the first calendar quarter (January to March of 2014) has delivered (unaudited) revenue of over €1.3 million and turned the corner into profit with circa €220,000 of profit for the period.

The Group announced in its interim report on March 26th 2014 revenue for the first six months of the Groups financial year (July to end of December 2013) of €655,852 and therefore cumulative revenue to date (9 months) for the Groups full financial year is greater than €1.98 million representing an increase in revenue of over 300% for the period.

The Groups Media division is now the largest shopping centre advertising network in the UK by number of shopping centres. During the period in shopping malls and cinemas the media networks delivered national campaigns for brands such as Lego, Sony Mobile, Revlon, Ford, Pizza Hut, Vodafone, Estee Lauder, GSK and EE to name a few.

The Groups advertising sales business continues to grow booking on average over €200,000 of new advertisers per month on our mall and cinema networks.

The Groups technology business continued to deliver innovation to its clients including enhancements to the Miami International Airport Way-finding solution, which is the first of 3 booked Airport installations. To date our work at Miami has delivered over $250,000 in revenue. During the period we also launched a mobile commerce Parking App for Westfield shopping centres, which is now expanding into our existing and new shopping centre clients in the UK and US.
